zOMGies 2 Walkthrough

zOMGies 2 is a zombie game that is the sequel to zOMGies. This iteration of zOMGies features superior graphics, fifteen levels, fifteen different weapons, and even vehicles!

The objective of zOMGies 2 is to survive through each of the fifteen levels. Your progress is shown at the bottom of the screen. Once you have reached the end of the level and have killed off all of the remaining zombies, you will proceed to the next level. If you run out of health (represented by the bar in the upper-left corner of the screen), then you will die and will have to start the level from its beginning.

The charm of the original zOMGies is retained in zOMGies 2, but there are a few changes. The first change is that instead of a crowbar and pistol, you start this action game with dynamite and a pistol. The dynamite (banger, as it is called in the game) is a useful weapon for clearing groups of zombies when there are no barrels around to shoot. I found myself keeping this weapon even when other weapons became available.

The second change in zOMGies 2 is that collectable items are actually useful! You may collect food that's lying on the ground to replenish your health and stay alive as you flee from the zombie horde. You may also collect antidotes, which surprisingly do not heal you, but grant bonus points at the end of each level.

The final changes that make zOMGies 2 a marked improvement over its predecessor are the Duke Nukem-esque one-liners, and of course, the vehicles! When you enter a vehicle, you can run over as many zombies as you can for tons of bonus points. You will have to collect fuel to keep your fuel gauge up (located in the upper-left corner of the screen where your health bar would be) and avoid barrels. If you run of of fuel or crash into a barrel, your playtime with the vehicle will end, and you'll be back to running on foot.

zOMGies 2 is a major improvement over its predecessor, and is sure to please fans of the original zOMGies as well as fans of action games in general. The nightmare continues in zOMGies 2!
